JEREMY NITTA

Jeremy Nitta was the second Jiu-Jitsu black belt promoted by Eric "Mad Tiger" Goo. As a lower belt, Jeremy was one of the most talented Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in Hawaii, having won just about every local tournament.
On the national and international level, Jeremy has competed at pans, worlds, no-gi worlds and has several IBJJF opens. In 2020 he started TRXTR Studio in Kapolei.

Biography
Jeremy Nitta was born and raised in Waianae, Hawaii. As a teen, he was introduced to kickboxing, where the challenging and competition components really appealed to him. After competing a few times he decided to supplement his kickboxing training with Jiu-Jitsu and the closest school at the time was the Mad Tiger Academy in Mililani.
Jeremy instantly fell in love with Jiu Jitsu. Under Eric "Mad Tiger" Goo's guidance, Jeremy quickly became a house hold name on the local competition circuit winning just about every local tournament he entered. As a blue belt Jeremy began traveling to the mainland to compete and train with the likes of Marcelo Garcia, and Professor Caio Terra.
In 2018, after many hard years of training, Jeremy was awarded his black belt from his teacher, mentor and good friend, Eric "Mad Tiger" Goo.
After teaching for several years, Jeremy took the leap to chase his dream of owning his own academy. In 2020, he opened TRXTR Studio in Kapolei. Founded on the belief that Jiu Jitsu can change lives, Jeremy hopes to teach the next generation the valuable lessons that Jiu-Jitsu has taught him!
